It is my goal to complete the Pilgrimage of the 88 Temples in Shikoku one hundred and seven times. I will be doing this by walking, driving, biking and/or riding in a bus/car/helicopter/train.

This is my story from start to finish.

This is the first entry within this journal. It has been created to inform you about how this particular journal works.

This journal has been created along side the web site Shikoku Henro. It sets out to record my personal pilgrimage of the 88 temples of Shikoku in Japan.

This entry is the only entry which allows for comments. All other entries will have the comments option disabled. If you leave a comment here and it is "spam" it will be deleted without warning. If your comment is derogatory in any sense it too will be deleted. Please do not expect a response if you do comment; I may be too busy or away on travel. If have a question please make sure it is not already answered on the website. If it is not I will make every attempt to answer it or provide an answer on the website.

This journal will contain entries which focus around the preparations I am making to take this pilgrimage. It will also contain any thoughts I have on the journey and anything else I may find worth mentioning.
